On June 11, the MCHA is partnering with the Pocono Heritage Land Trust for a “Hike Into History” at the 52-acre Fieldstone Farm Tank Creek Nature Preserve in Cresco.

A highlight of the hike will be hearing about the history of this old stone farmhouse.

Historical Association member Jim Vagliardo, president of The Older Adult Learning Community, will lead guests through the 52-acre preserve, highlighting the rich history of the ruins of an old stone farmhouse, railroads, and natural resources located at this pristine location.
The preserve also features two ponds and many hillside springs and wetland areas.
The Monroe County Historical Association is proud to partner with the Pocono Heritage Land Trust for this event.
