Students learn about history at the Stroud Mansion

ABOUT STUDENT TOURS

The historic Stroud Mansion, built in 1795 on Main Street in Stroudsburg, offers many opportunities for educational field trips for students of all ages. The focus of the field experience can be customized to the classroom curriculum and student developmental levels.

The Stroud Mansion features the Stroud room, Victorian parlor, tool and weapon room, antique toy room, an extensive collection of Native American artifacts, Colonial kitchen and research library.

Our regular student tour visits the entire Stroud Mansion.

Our special “Colonial America” tour, suitable to younger students, features a visit to the Colonial kitchen and the Stroud parlor only, and includes an age-appropriate activity.

The MCHA Education Committee will work with you to design student tours to meet specific needs.
