GROUP TOURS
The Monroe County Historical Association invites your organization, school, club, senior group, or community group to experience the rich history of Monroe County through a guided visit to the historic Stroud Mansion Museum.Located in the heart of downtown Stroudsburg, the 1795 Stroud Mansion serves as the headquarters of the Monroe County Historical Association and is one of the county's most significant historic landmarks. The museum features four floors of exhibits showcasing local history from Native American settlement through the present day.
During your visits, guests will:
- Explore four floors of museum exhibits highlighting Monroe County history.
- View historic artifacts, artwork, photographs, documents, and collections.
- Learn about the Strouds and the founding families of Monroe County.
- Discover rotating exhibits that focus on the social, cultural, political, and economic history of Monroe County.
- Learn about local families, businesses, and events that shaped our community.

GROUP TOUR INFORMATION
- Available for organizations, clubs, schools, and community groups.
- Guided tours led by knowledgeable museum docents or staff.
- Advance reservations required. Must be made two weeks in advance.
- Entrance is located on 9th Street and includes a ramp for accessibility. All floors of the museum are accessible by elevator.
GROUP TOUR HOURS
- Scheduled during business hours, Tuesdays through Saturdays, beginning at 10 am, based upon the availability of docents.
- The last group tour any day will start at 2 pm.
- All group members should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time.
- Tours will begin promptly at the scheduled time and last approximately 1½ hours
GROUP TOUR ADMISSION
- Special group rate of $10/person is available for groups of 10 or more visitors.
- Payment may be made by check, cash, or credit card in advance or upon arrival. Please make checks payable to the Monroe County Historical Association.
- While we understand that final attendance numbers may change, a minimum charge of $100 per group applies to all group tours.
